Welcome

Finglow Consultants Ltd (FCL) are experts in engineering analysis, assessment and design of pressurised systems.   From our offices in Hertford we have provided a second-to-none service in this area for over thirty years, and have successfully applied our skills on projects for a wide range of satisfied clients in the petrochemical, oil & gas, nuclear, marine, food, pharmaceutical and transport industries.

We’ve designed complex high temperature process internals used to refine crude oil at more than fifty refineries worldwide, and engineered numerous manned submersibles capable of rescuing submariners stranded in deep oceans. We’ve helped to delay capital expenditure by proving that it is safe to prolong the service life of corroded chemical plant, and solved premature cracking problems in pressure vessels used to produce products ranging from freeze-dried coffee to nuclear fuel. We’re dedicated to what we do, and have formed long-standing relationships with clients who appreciate the value-added, high quality service that we provide.

In addition to our work in the pressurised equipment industry, our analytical and problem-solving skills have frequently been put to good use outside this core area, providing us with the opportunity to work on a variety of design optimisation projects including weight reduction of an HGV curtain-sided trailer, NVH (noise, vibration & harshness) reduction of car exhaust systems and the development of conceptual lightweight aircraft fuselage designs.

We hope that our website provides an appreciation of the expertise that we could bring to your organisation. Please feel free to contact us if you have a particular piece of work in mind, and we’ll let you know if we can help.
